Boys golf team hits the links twice last week

South Central Calhoun’s varsity golf team finished 1-1 last week against Twin Lakes Conference foes as they defeated Prairie Valley Tuesday, April 15, at the Lake City Country Club, while the Titans fell to East Sac County Thursday, April 17, at Sac City Country Club.

Against Prairie Valley, the team result came down to the fifth varsity counting score as both teams finished with a 175. It was Trenton Dorman’s 51 that helped the Titans pull out the win after a tie score.

Overall, Prairie Valley’s Conner Conrad was meet medalist with a 40 and his teammate Josh Johnson was runner-up with a 41.
