Local attorney Jake Thompson to seek District 10 State Rep seat

Calhoun County native, attorney, and small business owner Jake Thompson announced that he will seek election as State Representative for Iowa House District 10, the seat currently held by Mike Sexton.
The son of a local corrections officer and a waitress, Thompson grew up on a farm outside Rockwell City and now practices law at his firm, Thompson Law Firm, PLC located on Main Street in Manson, Iowa.
Thompson is dedicated to fighting for the rights of rural middle class families like his own who have been consistently hurt and ignored by policies that prioritize corporations and groups with no ties to the local area over the interests of hard-working Iowans.
