No. 4 Titan girls remain undefeated

South Central Calhoun’s varsity girls basketball team remains undefeated at 7-0 after picking up three more victories over opponents this past week.

The Titans opened up the week at Webster City and rolled to a 57-19 victory over the Lynx Tuesday, Dec. 9. In action Friday, Dec. 12, at Lake City, SCC defeated Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire 55-18, and SCC concluded the week with a home contest against Southeast Valley in Rockwell City, where they defeated the Jaguars by a 68-28 triumph.

In the Webster City win, the Titans led 11-9 after the first period and outscored the Lynx 20-0 in the second period to lead 31-9 at the half. SCC outscored Webster City 16-5 in the third period and 10-5 in the fourth for the 57-19 victory.
