Open house celebrates Sunny Knoll improvements

Sunny Knoll Care Centre celebrated completion of one project – installation of new flooring – while raising funds for more improvements Friday night.
Support for the care center’s mission was evident by the number of community members visiting to eat a meal of hamburgers or hot dogs, beans and bars, the latter donated to the care center for the event.
“Our goal in doing this is to get all new TVs for the rooms and new recliners,” Administrator Jessica Andrews said. “Turnout’s been amazing. We can’t believe how big turnout is.”
Andrews credited the Rockwell City Lions Club, Rockwell City Rotary and Rockwell City Chamber and Development for helping the event.
