School starts

On Aug. 13 and 14, registration was held for the students of the South Central Calhoun School District. The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 21 (Aug. 28 for preschool and TK). The former whole-grade sharing partners Rockwell City/Lytton and Southern Cal have officially merged and are one district as of July 1.
