Nick Spencer bested Chris Green for an open at-large seat on the South Central Calhoun School Board in Tuesday’s district election.
Spencer, who lives between Lake City and Rockwell City, is a graduate of Southern Cal High School. Green, of Lake City, also graduated from Southern Cal. Spencer received 168 votes, while Green received 145.
Kari Musselman and Jason Hawkins were unchallenged for two open north district seats, while Darci Lightner and Judy Hungate were uncontested for two south district seats.
These results, taken from the Calhoun County Auditor's Office, are considered to be unofficial until the Board of Supervisors canvasses on Friday.
