Lake City Country Club hosts Rally for the Cure golf tournament

The 17th annual Rally for the Cure golf tournament was held on June 15 at the Lake City Country Club.
Kerri Shipley was the ambassador for the event. The Rally for the Cure is no longer managed and operated by a third-party business partner of the Susan G. Komen. Instead, the rally program is now being managed and operated by the Susan G. Komen directly and all event proceeds stay in Iowa.
The rally was created to empower people to take action in the fight against breast cancer. The rally’s mission is to educate women about the disease and remind them to get their annual screening to ensure early detection.
