Rockwell City garden taking reservations

Plots for the Rockwell City Community Garden will be reserved free of charge on a first come first serve basis.

The city of Rockwell City is working with Calhoun County Public Health to implement this program. Both have received grant money to get the gardens started and some seeds and tools are even available to be used in the plots.

For more information or to sign up to reserve a plot contact Shelly at 297-8323 ex. 236 or email sschossow@calhouncountyiowa.com. There are a limited number of spaces. Several members of the community will also be available to help people get started or help with planting advice and maintenance.
