SCC girls qualify four events for state track

South Central Calhoun’s varsity girls track team faced some tough competition at the 2015 Class 2A state qualifying meet hosted by Ridge View High School in Holstein Thursday, May 14.
The Titans qualified four events for the 2015 Class 2A girls state track meet to be held this week — Thursday, May 21 through Saturday, May 23 — at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
Advancing to state for the Titans included Tyffaney Toms in the shot put and Haley Birks in the discus, Hannah Corey in the 400 meter low hurdles and the Titans 4x200 relay.
